All of our residents are now negative for the virus and we have not had any staff members test positive since 12/31/2020. We have only 5 staff members that are out of work in their quarantining period from being either exposed or recovering from the virus.
All new admissions are now admitted to our A-Wing. Each are tested prior to admission, isolated in their own room to quarantine, and tested twice within 10 days.
We had our first resident counsel meeting today (socially distanced) in which the residents discussed how we are going to forever honor those we have lost to this virus. The resident council has several ideas on how to do this.
The residents and the staff are truly rallying around each other with what we have all been through. One of our residents said it best, "We have to be here for each other, because only we know what we have been through."
Crouse Community Center is founded on the idea of neighbors caring for neighbors. We treat your family like our family. That commitment to care is backed by Medicare’s independent 5 star rating for our facility.
