    COVID-19 UPDATE: December 14, 2020 Since this outbreak started with our residents on December 1, 2020, our staff have been in Full PPE for all shifts and departments. That includes N95 masks, googles, face shields and gowns. We have spared no expense and have maintained over a 90 supply.     COVID-19 Update: December 13, 2020 This morning we had no new resident or staff testing positive to report from yesterday's update. Today we have 44 employees out with COVID-19 and over 25 more that are unable to work for health concerns. Generally, critical healthcare personnel can go back to work if they meet several guidelines prior to 14 days. We are 13 days into this outbreak since our first staff member tested positive.     December 11, 2020 COVID-19 Update: Today, at the direction of NYS Epidemiology, we created 4 COVID-19 positive "units", a negative unit, and a exposed but negative unit to continue to try to slow the spread. We did a full house test of all negative residents and found 12 more positives residents. As of 4:00pm today, all cohorting is completed.     6 more residents tested positive yesterday, with 2 staff members. Nancy O'Neill continues to be our point person for family contact. Crouse Community Center, with the direction of NYS Department of Health, are cohorting positive, exposed, and negative residents to try to slow and eliminate the spread.
