Crouse Community Center Celebrates 25 Years

Morrisville, NY – Crouse Community Center is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a week-long celebration September 12th-17th, 2016.

Crouse Community Center, a community based not for profit organization, opened its doors in August 1991, the same month the Gerrit Smith Infirmary in Eaton, NY was closed. Over the past 25 years, Crouse Community Center has transformed its services from traditional long term care to a premier post-acute, rehabilitation health care partner in the area.

“We are very excited to celebrate our silver anniversary with our employees, residents, and families”, stated DJ Raux, Executive Director. “Our week long celebration allows us to highlight our services, and allows our residents, families, employees and the local community to share in the excitement.”

The Anniversary schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, September 12
    Rededication Ceremony and lunch 11am-1pm, by invitation
  • Tuesday, September 13
    Car Cruise In and Ice Cream Social 5pm -7pm – PUBLIC WELCOME
  • Wednesday, September 14
    Senior Health Fair 10am -2pm – PUBLIC WELCOME
  • Thursday, September 15
    Resident and Staff Field Days
  • Friday, September 16
    Agriculture Day and Farmer’s Market 10am-2pm - PUBLIC WELCOME
  • Saturday, September 17
    Crouse Community Picnic 5pm-8pm
    Fireworks 8:15pm – PUBLIC WELCOME
